This October, the Brigade of the Girona City Council is doing maintenance work on the emblematic Peixeteries Velles de Girona bridge (known as "the iron bridge") with MVIC paintings.

The infrastructure had areas with some oxidation and a considerable lack of maintenance.

On August 24th, the ban on using products containing diisocyanates will come into effect under R. 2020/1149, which provides exceptions to this prohibition:

a) the concentration of diisocyanates, both individually and in total, is below 0.1% by weight.

b) the employer (or self-employed worker) ensures that industrial or professional users have successfully completed training on the safe use of diisocyanates before using the substances or mixtures.

For staff training, our association ASEFAPI has reached an agreement to help its members and their clients comply with this obligation in the simplest way and in full compliance with the law.

Last Wednesday, April 16th, MVIC, together with the company PROPAMSA (Ciments Molins), of which we are the official distributors in the Girona area for their SATE product, held a technical workshop at the headquarters of the Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) in the Girona district.

The workshop consisted of a theoretical session in the morning and a practical session after a light lunch, both delivered by PROPAMSA technicians. The event was attended by architects, technical architects, builders, and other professionals from the construction sector.

MVIC is committed to renewable energies with the installation of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption on the roofs of the factory building.
